Star blinks to him, at the randomness of the question "I have my family." Zantro smirked "Oh yes your uncle Gabriel..the one who wants torpor." Star narrowed his eyes "What makes you say that?" Zantro looks at him "Oh he was begging my friend he tried to hurt for her to knock him out, put him in eternal rest...or whatever torpor that slumber." Star stared at the Tiefling and just didn't want to believe that. However the doubt Astaroth had in him started bubbling back up.
"He wouldn't do that." he told the Tiefling. Who pulled out a ball "This is a special little magic trinket, I so love it.I use it to see things, especially past things." He hold it up to Star "He even claim you are just a peasant, that you work like one." He smirk some. Star growled some and looked at the ball, seeing his uncle interact with the Tiefling and a hybrid. Listening to the conversation going on, then watched the Tiefling jump to the next part.
Gabriel walked over to Zantro "We need to talk later." Zantro look to him "No we willl not. I am not taking the blame for your mistakes anymore." Gabriel getting mad and just turns to walk to the hybrid "I need you to knock me out, I can't myself."How Zantro went off on his uncle, how Gabriel seem to want it, even when compared to Caines.
Star looked rather hurt at this, he took a deep breath "How can I even be sure I am seeing this right?" Zantro move to him and purred "He's always been mean to you, even when you are nice to him.Why he is ready to abandon you rather fast.He will never see you as family."he whisper to Star. "You will always be..just a hybrid thing to him. Like me, you will never be seen as anything else." The bard frown to that though, adding "I know what it is like to not belong. "Star backed up and just furrow his brow.
Star could till hear Astaroth possessed Gabriel words in his head.He closed his eyes and just tried to not think his uncle could do such. However Zantro would continue "I'd confront him if I was you. Stop letting him push you around, you are not a kid anymore. He should respect you, what you do.He should stop these selfish needs of his, remind him he needs you.You don't need him." he then walk off "Just food for thought hun." winking as he left Star in doubt now.
Zantro cackle as he walked through the undercity, until grabbed and pulled to an alley way. He look at saw Astaroth "I told you to stay away from them, they are dangerous." he growled. Zantro whimper some "Its ok, I can do this.I will help you get free." he told him. Astaroth blink a moment "I don't need your help." Zantro stared at him "I am yours sir...I will help free you, even if it is being your tool."Astaroth leans to him "Becareful your words boy, remember last time you let someone use you." Zantro purred to him "Astie, I want this.I want to help you I can handle it. Let me, please get back at these fools for you.I am using what you told me.I already am getting to the vampire and I just put doubt in the half breed." Astaroth sighed, having high hopes for Star, but he was a little proud at Zantro.
He really was acting like a demon, he would sigh some "Fine, but be careful.I can not help you always." he told him. Zantro nods to him "Don't worry I have friends who can.I want to do this for you." Asstaroth smirked. "Fine, but if I tell you otherwise obey and do not question." Zantro nod to him. "No problem." he told him and grins. Astaroth would then say "They doubt each other as you see, Gabriel is broken already, be careful with him, he is crazy as I said.You have to be tactful, earn his trust." Zantro nods and Astaroth would leave, as Zantro then moves to walk off, whole his plan was in motion.
