Word had come out about the bards guild burning down, about the massacre that happened there. Some claim it was demons or wraith of the deity that they rumored to have a statue of. Some always believed the guild was a front and not a true bards guild at all, that it was really a illegal brothel. However it was gone and some were happy and others not so much. Off in a tavern nearby, in the darker corner of it was a male who looked elven, next to him a blue devil boy. "You know you are free now and can, I don't know, just go do what you want." The bard stared at him "I know, just I ...haven't been out in so long and I am not sure I can cope in this world." he look around. The elf sighs "I am not a mentor." the bard sighs "I know, but can I just please hang around you for a while.I promise I won't get in the way and I will even help you." the elf thought a moment and ponder.
The bard adds "I owe you for my freedom, so I do need to repay you." the elf rolled his eyes "Fine. I want souls. You do as I say and listen. I don't like idiots and I will not think twice about abandoning you or leaving you in troubling hands.I am a demon, never forget this." The bard nods fast "I promise." the elf didn't know if he regret this and part of him felt a little kindred to this spirit. A being that didn't belong and yet a survivor. He figure maybe he could mold the tiefling some, get him to tilt more to his demonic nature as much as his human nature. Staring at the blue devil boy as he seem to beam, the elf rolled his eyes. "Lets go, not smart to stay in a town were we just killed a bunch of people." getting up the bard follow, smiling.
Couple of years had past and the bard had come into being the hedonistic thing most knew him as. He was throwing one of the many parties he tend to throw. Having some fun with a beautiful girl, who was enjoying the taboo of being with a tiefling. Right as she seem to be well hitting her high point, the demon took her soul. Soon a whiny sound was heard "ASTIE!!!!!I wasn't done with her!" he shout. Astaroth raised a brow "she's still alive just..souless." The bard tossed her to the side, as she was more a husk now "YOU KNOW ITS NOT THE SAME!" Astaroth rolled his eyes "Fine I will wait till you are done next time.Only cause you are just annoying when you whine." The bard still pouted" but Astie." Astaroth clamped his hand on the bards mouth "Stop calling me that. I have told you, must be like a hundred times to stop." slowly letting go. "Austie...I told you its a term of endearment."
Astaroth growled "What did I tell you I was?" the bard pokes his forefingers together "That you are a demon." Astaroth narrow his eyes "Yes and so what in that mind of yours thinks I care about endearments?" the bard looks up at him with a pouty lip "I know..but just cause you can't feel such doesn't mean I don't. Its an endearment from me." Astaroth face went blank and he let a sigh out. "Fine." the bard jump and hugged the demon who growled "GET OFF!" the bard just spoke out "OH ASTIE YOU DO CARE! YOU WON'T ADMIT IT BUT YOU CARE!" Astaroth growled and was regretting to letting the bard get away with the nickname "UGH! I do not care I am a demon damnit." he shoved the bard back onto the bed. To which the bard laid there all seductive "Oh Astie you are so strong." the demon just shook his head.
Astaroth had left the bard to finish his hedonism party, while the bard was getting off, Astaroth had received word from someone. He was reading the paper over and then crumble it in his hands growling "Bastard." the bard comes up "Who?Hey I cleaned up and I even delivered the souls to you this time." holding a bottle up "like you showed me." Astaroth frowns "I am afraid this is where we part ways.I can not bring you with me this time." The bard frowns "Did I do something wrong?" Astaroth smirk" what did I say about stupid questions?" the bard sighs "why?" he then frown some and pat the bard on the head "Don't worry you can call me if you get in trouble, but I have to go after a vampire. I will still check in on you, you do have a debt to pay and all."though the bard had long paid that debt. He just didn't want to admit he like the little guys company, he then move to leave "Just try not to get in trouble, there is limits to even me." staring at the bard, who would nod to him "Ok." though the bard was heart broken. Astaroth could see that and it was something he didn't feel, but he gave the bard a smirk and headed off to heed Caines call and go after this vampire named Nine.
